Understanding the US role in the Middle East from a Kurdish perspective

As a world leading political and economic power, the US has and continues to have a major influence within the region. There are varying opinions on the impact of this influence, and coupled with the fluxing state of politics from the various state actors within the region, the Middle East is never too far from any geo-political discussion. This seminar will have a bias towards discussing peaceful pathways for the future. The facilitator will be seeking opinions from the audience to better explore the topic from a Kurdish perspective. If you have an interest and/or an opinion on the future of the US relationship in the region and the role of Kurdistan, you should not miss this event.
