UKH Students in the Petroleum Engineering programme visited the Bekhma dam to explore the geological formations in the area and gain practical understanding of the petroleum system.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe key geological features and relate them to concepts they have studied in class. It was a valuable hands-on learning experience that helped enhance their understanding of petroleum systems in real-world contexts.
The BSc programme in Petroleum Engineering is designed to produce a new generation of petroleum engineers and make them able to manage their natural resources in the best possible way.
The programme deals with day to day operations in petroleum industry such as drilling operations, completions, well testing and logging, reservoir studies and other production operations.
