Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering

The Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering aims to produce postgraduates who are well-equipped with a thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of Civil Engineering. Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree average of 50% or above.
- English Language Proficiency progression requirement: Minimum English Language requirement is 45 in PTE, 95 in Duolingo, 5.5 in IELTS or 64 in TOEFL iBT
- Students graduating from International Institutions are required to equalize their transcript from the Ministry of Higher Education.
- Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Curriculum
The coursework for the Higher Diploma program consists of eight modules conducted over 15 weeks (two semesters). Students must complete the following modules to qualify for the award of the Higher Diploma. The program spans a duration of one year, comprising a total of 120 credits. It encompasses eight taught modules, each valued at 15 credits. Typically, students will engage in the study of four modules per semester.
