The acting Dean of
School of Science and Engineering Dr Soorkeu Atroushi was invited to Germany by
the German educational organization DAAD for a two week gathering of scholars in late March.
The two-week event
included specialized presentations in Brandenburg Technical University BTU by
DAAD Alumni who had done research in Germany or finished their postgraduate
studies in one of the German universities. The presentations were based on
previously submitted and accepted articles in individual fields of interest,
soon to be published.
The second part of the
event was dedicated to Hannover Messe – Technology and Innovation 2019 in
Hannover, which is the largest exhibition of such output in Germany with 6500
participations from 70 countries focusing on integrated energy and automation
and embodies the latest in my field of interest; renewable energy in terms of
industrial and research orientations.
