Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
UKH shares the idea of Bologna process on SLO, which states: it is not only about what student knows, but what a student can do with what she/he knows.
Learning outcomes are clear statements of what students should know or be able to do after their graduation. In general, a minimum of three learning outcomes are required (i) Written communication, (ii) describe/analyse/apply ideas and (iii) demonstrate that they know the discipline methods by successfully completing a report/lab/presentation/application/research project.
The role of Deans and Head of Departments is very vital during implementation of those TQA process. They will consider external examiners’ reports, monitor student progression, oversee the development and management of Quality Assurance procedures and overview the external examiners’ Annual Report.
