Reading Seminars Series 2018 Part One: Academic Reading (Week 2)

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, Edward Bassett presented the second session of part one on Academic Reading. He focused on reading critically and how to analyze academic reading. Strategies in reading academic texts were explained, how to identify the purpose of the text, examine evidence, explanations, assumptions, and annotate the academic text. A practical exercise was done using an article on "Recent Efforts of Catalonia, A Region in Northeast Spain"
